Thank you for visiting our website! We are Sister Cities of Columbia, Illinois, a member of Sister Cities International. Columbia is located approximately fifteen miles southeast of St. Louis, Missouri.

Our sister city is Gedern, Germany, located in the Vogelsberg region of Hessen, Germany, approximately an hour northeast of Frankfurt.

The goal of the Sister Cities International Program is to bring about a sense of mutual interest and purpose among the world community through exchanges of people and cultures at the local level.
